The RiversMeet and Three Rivers Information Centre has moved - We are now on the corner of Station Road, opposite the NatWest Bank.

Come along and get the latest news on RiversMeet - the building project, what will be on offer, how you can support the project, and how you can become a patron!

The updated booklet of five walks in and around Gillingham is now available from the Town Hall and the Library (you'll have to ask at the Library enquiries desk). Each walk is on a single laminated A5 sheet - ideal whatever the weather

Turf cutting ceremony Gillingham 16 May 2009

On Saturday May 16th Mark Hebditch, Chairman of the Three Rivers Partnership and Mayor of Gillingham, Cllr Ian Stewart took part in a traditional turf-cutting ceremony to signal the start of work on the new RiversMeet Centre in Hardings Lane, Gillingham.
The RiversMeet Centre will have a 25-metre, 6-lane competition standard swimming pool, a fitness suite, a four badminton court sized main sports hall, a café and meeting rooms. The target date for re-opening is Easter 2010
