Our Mission Statement

The Three Rivers Partnership (3RP) is Gillingham’s Community Partnership. We believe in the strength and resilience of rural communities like ours. We also believe in the power of community to create positive change. Our mission is to inspire, support, and empower local residents to take collective action in addressing the challenges and opportunities facing our community. We are committed to fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and sustainability in all our initiatives. By working together, we can enable Gillingham to become a vibrant, resilient, and compassionate community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Our central goal will be achieved through facilitation, signposting and helping to make the right connections in our community.

  • We will offer resources, training, and guidance to enable individuals and groups to lead and participate in community-driven projects.
  • We will seek to ensure that all voices, particularly those from underrepresented or marginalised groups, have the opportunity to be heard and valued.
  • We will work in partnership with local organisations, businesses, and residents to build a stronger, more connected community.
  • We will promote environmentally and socially responsible practices in all our activities, ensuring that our actions benefit both current and future generations.
  • We will operate with openness and accountability, using social media to regularly share our progress and outcomes with the community.
  • We will learn from our experience, offering tailored and person-centred support to individuals and groups, using a flexible approach which develops over time.
